When Personal Branding Goes Too Far

There is a dark side of personal branding, and it comes with much more than heavy breathing and red light sabres. 

In fact, it's dubbed as "identity labour." And it kind of makes you suck as a person. 

Pretty harsh to say, we know. But the fact of the matter is that there's a fine line between communicating your values and beliefs and coining empty phrases that hold no meaning. 

Don't be a commodity. As soon as you act, think, and speak like everyone else you join the lemmings and it's a race to the bottom from there.
