Whether or not it gives you images of Skynet taking over, there's something to be said about tech that's smart or at least trying to be smarter.
Tech that recognizes your voice. Tech that drives itself (literally). Or remote-controlled tech that captures the news.
On one hand of the argument, there's the idea that human error should mostly be eliminated. The other half are those who would question just how smart tech can become before well, it gets smarter than us (kinda creepy).
Until we know all the details, we're going to give these 5 tech updates the benefit of the doubt and praise their forward strides. It's great to stick with what you know, but it also gets stale. Markets change. People change. So the things that people use need to change along with that.
If businesses and brands can carve out their own new niche spaces to fill up and own, then all the power to them.
