Just don't suck. We say it a lot, because it's true. 

Brands can toe the line of these changing times and stick to their traditional means of advertising or they can do something awesome that still aligns with their values but is also exciting and useful to their customer. 

The Onion gets this. It may poke fun at native advertising and its ironies, but it also happens to be an example of one of the most successful media agencies branching out into content creation.
